I felt much the same way about turning 31. When you’re 30, you’ve “just left” your twenties. But once you turn 31, well, you’re in your thirties and it suddenly starts to feel old.

But 32 was different, at least to me, because 32 meant that I had been with Scott for 16 years = half my life. I found that special. And when I turn 33 it will be more than half my life. That makes me happy.
