Well, as I near my 31st birthday (that’s this Sunday, December 13 and yes, it’s possible to email gift cards these days) I’ve decided I am going to blog again. Mostly because it gets my mind working and gets me thinking about things … but also, simply to spread the joy that is my life with the world. That was slightly sarcastic. I might be slightly inspired by my good friend Larry’s blog.
What will I blog about? Who knows. There’s change ahead for the Shaffers – most likely a move in the coming months back east. When and where remains to be seen.
Boston, I’m sure, will be a hot topic. Especially as his confidence continues to soar and his arsenal of words begins to expand. Currently, it’s just ‘mamamamama’ and ‘dadadadada’ and his first real words have been, “Do it!” Yes, my son’s first words are just that – DO IT! It couldn’t be because every time he does something – anything – we say, “Do it!” … could it?
I’ve also connected our fancy little blog to facebook. So if you’re a facebook friend of mine, you should see updates when I post something on your facebook wall/news feed. Yes, I am so tech-savvy.
