Stacey and I thought that this year – and hopefully more so in the years to follow – we’d help the less fortunate of the world. It’s too often in this world that we can tend to get down on ourselves … “I’m not successful enough.” ”My life sucks.” ”I wish I could buy more for my family and friends for Christmas.”
So, today we purchased a school meal program for one child in Ethiopia via Oxfam America.
Sometimes it helps to take a step back and look at what you do have.

Merry Christmas to you guys–that was a really good gesture and it does make you feel great. Our card club has adopted a family the last few years in lieu of exchanging gifts and it is a wonderful feeling to be able to give to someone in need. A blessed and healthy new year. love & hugs to all.
